Why American Diploma?


• The American Diploma in Egypt is a great start if you want a bright future for your child. It’s one of the most raved about international educational systems in the Egypt.

• The American diploma curriculum is a popular choice for parents across the world; where they focus on inquiry-based learning and student-centered planning.

• It’s based on high standards of achievement in all subject areas, with a broad and balanced approach supported by a wide range of curricular activities to qualify the students to meet the needs of the 21st century and to promote the students' critical thinking skills, so they don’t need to memorize information.

• The American Diploma is accepted by all US universities and colleges and is recognized by many other universities around the world.

• The American system consists of 12 years of education, kindergarten, elementary school, middle school and high school. It’s known to engage in activities that promote their critical thinking skills such as projects and presentations; hence, students do not memorize information.

• Student’s grades in the American system is an average of 4 quarters of the year, this creates a chance for students to improve their grades if they achieved low grades in the first quarter. The grading is based on a grade point average system (GPA) out of 4.0.

• On top of those subjects, students have to learn Arabic, national education and religion. However, those subjects’ scores won’t be added to the final GPA.

• Core subjects are chosen according to the college major the student wants to select.

• American School Diploma represents 40% of the total GPA score, and the other 60% depends on the ACT, EST, SAT test result (ACT1,EST1, or SAT1 (obligatory) & ACT2, EST2, SAT2 (optional) which accounts for 15% of the total GPA).
